September 2024: Bima Municipality Inflation Year-on-Year (YoY) of 2,49 percent

Abstract

In September 2024 Bima Municipality y-on-y inflation is 2.49 percent, or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 103.87 in September 2023 to 106.46 in September 2024.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in ten of the eleven expenditure group indices, namely: the Education group by 21.97 percent; personal care and other services group at 5.69 percent; health group at 5.21 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group at 2.08 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.09 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.93 percent; transportation group at 0.78 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.51 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.18 percent. Meanwhile, one commodity group experienced deflation, namely equipment, tools and routine household maintenance at 0.31 percent.

The m-to-m inflation rate and y-to-d inflation rate were 0.89 percent and 1.59 percent respectively.
