Abstract

In March 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Bima City will be 3.10 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.74.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in nine of the eleven expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.69 percent; personal care and other services group at 3.24 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 2.53 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.91 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 1.4 percent; transportation group by 0.95 percent; education group of 0.65 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.62 percent; and the food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.29 percent; information group. Meanwhile, the Information, Communication and Financial Services commodity group was observed to be stable and the Health commodity group was observed to still experience deflation of 0.29 percent.

Bima in March 2024 is 0.55 percent and 0.91 percent respectively.
