Abstract

In October 2023, Bima Municipality experienced deflation of 0.11 percent or a decrease in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 115.48 points in September 2023 to 115.35 points in October 2023.

The inflation rate for the calendar year (October 2023 to January 2023) was 1.82 percent and the 'year-on-year' inflation rate (October 2023 to October 2022) was 2.34 percent.

Deflation in October 2023 of 0.11 percent occurred due to the decline in the CPI in Bima City, which was indicated by the decline in prices in the commodity group with a large contribution, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Commodity Group by 0.38 percent.
