Abstract

In January 2023, the City of Bima experienced a deflation of 0.09 percent or a decrease in the Consumption Price Index (CPI) from 113.29 percent in December 2022 to 113.29 percent in January 2023

The inflation rate for the calendar year (January 2023 to January 2023) is -0.09 percent. Meanwhile, the "year-on-year" inflation rate for January 2023 was 5.39 percent.

Deflation in January 2023 of 0.09 percent occurred due to a decrease in prices as indicated by a decrease in prices for the group with the largest share, namely the Transportation Commodities Group by 2.40 percent and the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group by 0. 73 percent.
