Abstract

In December 2023, Bima City experienced inflation of 0.56 percent or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 115.94 points in November 2023 to 116.59 points in December 2023.

The calendar year inflation rate (December 2023 to January 2023) was 2.91 percent and the 'year-on-year' inflation rate (December 2023 to December 2022) was 2.91 percent.

Inflation in December 2023 of 0.56 percent occurred due to the increase in the CPI in Bima City, which was indicated by the increase in prices in the commodity group with a large contribution, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Commodity Group with inflation of 1.57 percent.
