Abstract

In August 2023, Bima City experienced inflation of 0.17 percent or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 114.08 points in July 2023 to 114.76 points in July 2023.

The calendar year inflation rate (August 2023 to January 2023) was 1.30 percent and the 'year-on-year' inflation rate (August 2023 to August 2022) was 3.17 percent

Inflation in August 2023 of 0.17 percent occurred due to the increase in the CPI in Bima City, which was indicated by the increase in prices in the commodity group with a large contribution, namely the Transportation Commodity Group, by 0.89 percent.
