Abstract

In March 2023, the City of Bima experienced a deflation of 0.13 percent or a decrease in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 113.86 percent in February 2023 to 113.71 points in March 2023.

The calendar year inflation rate (March 2023 against January 2023) is 0.37 percent and the 'year on year' inflation rate (March 2023 against March 2022) is 5.52 percent.

Deflation in March 2023 of 0.13 percent occurred due to a decrease in the CPI as indicated by falling prices in the group with the largest share, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Commodities Group by 0.55 percent and the Housing, Water, Electricity and Fuel Group Households by 0.48 percent.
