Abstract

The total population of Bima City in 2022 is 159,107 people, which is still grouped in the young population group and the largest is aged 0-4 years at 15,929 people. The sex ratio in Bima City in 2022 will be 98.55, which means that there are 98 to 99 men among 100 women.Judging from the marital status in Bima City in 2022, the married status is 58.45 percent. For the female population aged 10-54 years with married status, there are more in rural areas, namely 68.67 percent, compared to urban areas, namely 56.07 percent. The percentage of mothers aged 10 years and over with a marriage age of under 15 years was 1.12 percent, where the age at first marriage of less than 15 years was dominated by urban areas.The percentage of mothers who are literate in Bima City reached 97.43 percent. These figures reveal that the majority of mothers are literate. The percentage of mothers in Bima City who have the highest university diploma is 32.38 percent and those who do not have a diploma is 3.61 percent. This illustrates that although mothers aged 10 years and over in Bima City are predominantly highly educated, there are still mothers who have low education/no diploma.In 2022, 22.23 percent of mothers in Bima City will have health complaints that disrupt daily activities (morbidity). Of those who experienced these complaints, the percentage of mothers who treated themselves was 88.68 percent and the percentage of mothers who sought outpatient treatment was 89.86 percent.The highest number of birth attendants at the birth of the last child in the last two years was assisted by a midwife at 59.49 percent, followed by an obstetrician at 29.39 percent, with the average weight of the last baby born weighing more than 2.5 kg at 100 percent. .The percentage of children aged 3-6 years who are still attending preschool education in the 2021/2022 school year is 42.88 percent, where the dominant type of education attended is kindergarten at 60.38 percent. Meanwhile, for children aged 7-17 years who are still in school, that is 99.30 percent, dominated by elementary school at 54.46 percent, followed by middle school at 27.93 percent and high school at 17.06 percent.The percentage of children less than 2 years old who have been breastfed in Bima City is quite high, namely 92.36 percent. Meanwhile, the number of children under 5 years (toddlers) who have been immunized is also very high, namely 98.53 percent.
