Abstract

The total population of Bima City in 2021 is 156,224 people, which are still grouped in the young age group and the most are at the age of 20-24 years at 12,819 people. The gender ratio in Bima City in 2021 is 98.88, which means that there are 98 to 99 males out of 100 females. Judging from the marital status in Bima City in 2021, the married status is 54.17 percent. For the female population aged 10-54 years with marital status, more in urban areas, namely 54.35 percent compared to rural areas, which is 48.16 percent. The percentage of mothers aged 10 years and over with marriage age below 15 years is 0.98 percent, where the age at first marriage is less than 15 years is dominated by urban areas. The percentage of literate mothers in Bima City reached 97.61 percent. The figures reveal that the majority of mothers are literate. The percentage of mothers in Bima City who have the highest high school diploma or equivalent is 39.44 percent and those who do not have a diploma are 4.66 percent. mothers who have low education / do not have a certificate. xiv Statistics of Mother and Child in Bima City 2021 In 2021, mothers in Bima City who have health complaints that cause disruption of daily activities (morbidity) are 22.82 percent. Of those who experience these complaints, the percentage of mothers who self-medicate is 83.09 percent and the percentage of mothers who seek outpatient treatment is 34.18 percent. Most birth attendants for the birth of the last child in the last two years were assisted by midwives as much as 67.41 percent, followed by obstetricians as much as 31.10 percent, with an average weight of the last baby born weighing more than 2.5 Kg as much as 86, 43 percent. The percentage of children aged 3-6 years who still/had attended preschool education in the 2020/2021 school year was 41.21 percent, where the dominant type of education followed was kindergarten at 57.57 percent. Meanwhile, for children aged 7-17 years who are still in school, 98.56 percent are dominated by SD level as much as 52.88 percent, followed by SMP 29.46 percent and SMA 17.65 percent. The percentage of children less than 2 years old who have been breastfed in Bima City is quite high, namely 95.88 percent. Meanwhile, children under 5 years old (toddlers) who have been immunized are also very high, namely 95.41 percent.
