June 2024: Bima City Inflation (Y-on-Y) of 2.39 percent

Abstract

In June 2024 there will be y-on-y inflation of 2.39 percent, or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 103.08 in June 2023 to 105.54 in June 2024.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in ten of the eleven expenditure group indices, namely: personal care and other services group by 5.11 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group at 3.69 percent; transportation group by 2.73 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.64 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.21 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.89 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.86 percent; education group of 0.65 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.58 percent; health group by 0.41 percent. Meanwhile, the Information, Communication and Financial Services commodity group was observed to be stable.

The m-to-m deflation rate and y-to-d inflation rate were 0.28 percent and 0.72 percent respectively.
