National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2005-2025 stipulates that the vision of national development is to realize Indonesia independent, advanced, just and prosperous. Fair means no restrictions/discrimination in any form, including gender discrimination.Therefore, improving the quality of life of women, increasing the role women in various fields of life, integrating gender perspectives in all stages of development, and strengthening of gender mainstreaming institutions, both in the central and regional levels become targets in national development that listed in the 2020-2025 RPJMN.The role of women in development in Bima City, cannot be underestimated. This can be seen from at least two things. First, girl is to be a partner for men in overcoming social, economic problems and politics. Second, quality women also determine the quality of generations successor in the family.Gender development in terms of GPI figures, shows that the GPI in Bima City consistently increasing from 96.15 to 96.41 during 2017-2021. This increase cannot be separated from the increase in the constituent variables, especially health and education for women.Gender development in terms of IDG index numbers, shows that in In the same period, the IDG number of Bima City has increased significantly from 65.33 to 70.16.
